AVOCADO SALAD

Hey Dada Fam. hope you took the time today to look around and smell the proverbial roses. Life is short. Don’t forget what matters, experience the now.
That being said, this week’s recipe is a salad. And you don’t even have to guess; of course, it's avocado. Avocado proves to be versatile yet again as it can be used in a salad. Salads mostly go hand in hand with healthy in sentences. Basically, a salad is a dish consisting of small pieces of vegetables or fruits. It’s ready to eat and is often served at room temperature or chilled.
While some salads contain meats like chicken, this avocado salad is 100% vegan, so it works amazing when trying to cut out animal products or can be a meal when trying to strive for a healthier lifestyle. I mean, I feel healthier just writing about this. LOL.
The avocado salad can be eaten on its own or alongside some githeri or rice. It’s a great meal to carry into the office or when you’re looking for a quick and easy meal. I mean it’s basically chopping up stuff and putting it in a bowl. So anyone can try this one out.
You’ll need;
One diced avocado
One diced cucumber
Two diced tomatoes
One diced onion
One chopped parsley (dhania)
Juice of one lemon
A pinch of salt
A pinch of chili powder
In a large bowl, add in the diced tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, and onion.

Season with the lemon juice, salt, and chili powder.
Add the chopped parsley and using a spoon, mix everything up.

Place in the fridge to chill for a few minutes if you prefer it chilled.
Serve as preferred and enjoy!
